Meet The Founders
Drew & Jourdan Smith started Salt & Light Laundry with the intentions of impacting the community they lived in and help pay off debt. What started as a side hustle turned into a prayer forward business where they get to serve families all over the great state of Texas. The most fulfilling thing about what we do is praying for our clients and making them a part of our family. Drew & Jourdan live in Celina Texas with their three year old daughter Emersyn.

Your washer is your child’s teacher, the lady you sit next to at church, maybe even your neighbor! Our washers partake in an extensive interview and training process before they take on any clients. Most importantly our washers are a part of the communities they serve and love where they live!

Our turnaround time is 24-48 hours. Sending an oversized load (75lbs+)? No problem, we’ll just need a little extra time. We will keep you updated throughout the process!
Easy! Text us with your first & last name, address or cross streets, and the frequency of service you’re looking for! We offer weekly, biweekly, and one time scheduling options.
Nope! Never. We pick up & deliver your laundry at no cost to you.
We have two options for laundry soap.
Ecos Detergent (base package). Skin safe & eco-friendly!
OR
Buff City soap for an additional 20¢/lb. Buff City’s laundry soap is made from a coconut oil base to act as a natural fabric softener. Made with natural ingredients & scented with essential oils and plant derived fragrances. Each location has fun scents to choose from so make sure to ask us for your washer’s scent menu.
None of these sound appealing? That’s ok. You’re welcome to send your own products!
We proudly employ stay at home parents and allow them an opportunity to earn income while having a flexible schedule! Laundry is done at your washer’s home. We conduct monthly sanitation checks to ensure that our standards are upheld and your laundry is cared for in a sparkling environment!
Yes! Our minimum is 15 lbs. Have less? No problem! We’ll still pick it up. You’ll just pay the minimum charge at our normal price of $1.80/lb or $2/lb of you select Buff City Soap.
Don’t worry about sorting! We’ll do it for you.
Of course! Whatever you need, we can do it for you. Hang dry? No problem. All golf shirts on hangers? Got it. Cold water wash & low heat dry? Check. We can even sort & package according to size to make putting the laundry away a breeze. Just ask & we’ll do whatever we can to accommodate you.
No, we do not offer dry cleaning at this time.
Yes we do! We’d love to help you give the gift of free time! Please let us know how many weeks of service you’re wanting to provide & the number of people that will be utilizing the service. We can recommend an amount based on that information!
